The Evil in Our Society

     It angers me to hear about Alyssa Bustamante and the innocent 9 year old little girl named Elizabeth Olten that she allegedly murdered. Poor little Elizabeth was found strangled and her throat was cut. All I am hearing on the news about this is who is to blame here? The news media is trying to blame Alyssa’s parents, and school authorities, and any other family members that they can get their hands on. The accused Alyssa allegedly dug a grave to put the little girl in before the murder. So who is to blame here? I say that there is just an unexplained evil that takes over in some people who were once human beings. The instinct of evil takes over anything that is possibly good about these murderers. After all, researchers have yet to find out what makes a serial killer a serial killer. They have done studies for decades on these serial killers, and found nothing. I think that we need to stop blaming anyone but the person who committed the murder no matter what age they are. Fifteen is definitely old enough to know that hurting another human being is wrong. I do not care what reasoning that they give me regarding why Alyssa Bustamante murdered Elizabeth, it does not explain murder. Wake up peeps, if the media really wants to blame someone, they can blame themselves for all of the crap they help expose our children to.
